Restaurant Athos in Altenburg

Wanted to order something delicious for dinner. Unfortunately this was a real disappointment. The prices are as usual, but the portions have shrunk noticeably. I had to look for the gyros on my plate (see picture), but not the aluminum foil that was included. The lamb chop was just as tiny and had an unpleasant aftertaste. Unfortunately not recommended in Corona times.

Unfortunately the food arrived freezing cold. It's a shame it was otherwise very tasty

At the moment only delivery service, but it was great. On time, uncomplicated and delicious.

Ordered by phone yesterday, but had to wait an hour before we could pick it up, but I can fully understand it, on a Friday evening, so there is no deduction at this point. We each had two starters plus tzatziki and a generous main course with an extra side dish, and paid less than € 50, perfectly justified. Food was delicious and really plentiful, I also think the bread was homemade, it was the first time we ordered there and it will certainly not be the last.

We have been regular customers for years! Love the food and the ambience and not to forget the great service ❤️. Keep it up.

Covid - suitable, have it delivered @home 🤗. Delivered on time, food was hot, super tasty (as always at Athoc). Again any time. You are great! Don't let your heads hang in lockdown, we'll stay true to you!

The food was amazing but i wish the people there enforced stricter Corona meassures. Saw a whole party 30 + people, sitting closely together and no masks

We have been guests here for years. Very friendly staff and very good, typical Greek cuisine. The restaurant is at ground level and very suitable for wheelchair users. I can recommend it without hesitation.

I had not encountered unfriendly behavior in Germany until I visited this place. Very uppity staff who did not want to accommodate us at all, perhaps because they viewed us differently. This was matched by equally terrible food. If I want to drink there are lovelier places to go. Which is why I'm not returning here again.

Been eating well for a long time. Despite Corona highly recommended, all regulations are followed. Super team 👍 and very tasty food. Keep up the good work
